Valiant Armoury Mugendai Practical Katana Sword

This fully hand forged Practical Katana features a 11 7/5th inch double pinned black cord wrapped Tsuka (handle) with genuine same (Ray skin). The antiqued copper tsuba is the traditional infinity shape often associated with the great Samurai Musashi. The saya is a black on black textured pattern with black cord wrapping. This katana is hand forged 1095 high carbon steel and is clay tempered with a natural high polished hamon on the 27 1/8 inch fullered (Bo-hi) blade. The Mugendai Practical Katana is well suited for tamashigiri and other forms of cutting exercises done by those with proper training and supervision. A beautiful red silk travel bag is included with the Mugendai Practical Katana.
