This seat is better for a three to five month old. I got it when my daughter was eight weeks and it didn't feel safe enough as it's pretty slippery. The suction cups at the bottom don't work if you have non-skid materials on the bottom of the tub.At three months she is enjoying the seat. You definitely need more water than specified or the baby gets cold. Also, the part between the legs could be softer or just not as seemingly uncomfortable.
