We used these trekking poles while in Yellowstone National Park. They are very useful in keeping your balance on the rocky trails. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

The poles are exactly what I was looking for. They collapse very small making them easy to carry and use with short skis only if I need them in deep powder. BUT the baskets are JUNK. I was sent 2 replacements, and they still split and cracked when I put them on the pole. I am keeping the pole as they are what I wanted, only because I know that I can buy the baskets separately at another time for just $5.
