Spring Star Mosquito Trap

I bought four of these, three are working really well. The fourth attracted many, many flies until it stunk worse than any dump and I held my nose and dumped the thick soup of dead flies into a garbage bag.

After a few days of setting this mosquito trap out, I could see the mosquito larvae in the trap. About a week later, I noticed a quite dramatic drop in the number of mosquito's in my backyard. It did not eliminate all of them, but they would no longer swarm around me when I went outside. Now, a month later, the trap has stopped attracting mosquito's and they are back in full force. I suspect it is because I need to clean the trap out and put more of the bait in it. I had hoped it would last a bit longer, but it seemed very effective while it was working. I would recommend getting several if you have a larger area to cover.
