Gerber's Deluxe Hunter's Pruning Kit is perfect for all turkey hunters, bow hunters, and any other sportsman who needs to trim tree branches, bushes, and other foliage to create that perfect hunting situation. The Deluxe Hunter's Pruning Kit contains the Fiskars® Sport Saw, the Fiskars Ratchet Pruner, and a sheath. Both the saw and the pruner are the best of their kind available, and make trimming shooting lanes quick and quiet.
The Fiskars® Sport Saw has one of the best cutting blades available, requiring 1/3 less effort than similar saws. The handle is made of a near indestructible Polymid™. The blade is stainless steel, and locks both open and closed for safety and convenience. It is lightweight and compact. The blade retracts into the handle to save space, and weighs only 3.0 ounces
Quality pruners can make quick work of removing small limbs and twigs. The Fiskars® Ratchet Pruner is the best in its class. Having a ratcheting action, these pruners can cut twigs that would normally be too big for standard pruners. The handles are made of a nearly indestructible composite. The anvil-style blade is made from carbon steel and has a Teflon® coating
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Sheath: Nylon with belt loop

In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. The unique style and high quality manufacturing of Gerber cutlery soon developed wide spread acclaim. In fact, Gerber Legendary Blades are the only cutlery on display in New York’s famous Museum of Modern Art.
From very early on, Gerber collaborated with top knife designers, setting a standard of quality for everyone else to follow. Renowned designers such as Al Mar, Bob Loveless, Paul Poehlmann, "Blackie" Collins, William Harsey Jr. and Ernest Emerson have all designed knives for Gerber. In 2002 this tradition continued as Gerber released the Silver Trident™, designed by Chief James "Patches" Watson (U.S.N. Ret.) and Bill Harsey Jr.
Today, Gerber continues to design and manufacture unique, high quality outdoor recreation products. In 2003 we are proud to introduce the next generation of multi-tools: the Recoil™ Auto-Plier. By constantly utilizing new technology and innovative design to develop new products, Gerber continues to be an industry leader. |
